This book contains a wealth of information. In addition to the Higher Beings referred to in the title, there are Saints, Gods, Goddesses and Deities to choose from. The Celestial Beings are drawn from several different cultures and periods in history, all presented in a simple, straightforward way.

For each Being Susan suggests issues on which they may offer help, an invocation and some background information, including ways in which they may work with us. The Encyclopedia is punctuated with many brightly coloured, simple illustrations depicting these higher helpers.

This is a book to browse through, use as a reference book or – following intuition – to use for guidance. I came across some wonderfully synchronistic items relating to a particular issue, which I found really helpful.

And there’s a lovely idea of a school bus, filled with higher helpers, driven by us – which I love!
